Ownership
I’m Jamie Lambourne, the owner of Soil And Spade Gardening Services, based in Botley, Oxford. I’ve spent the past 10 years working in gardening and landscaping, turning a lifelong passion for the outdoors into a trusted local business. What began with a love for plants and nature has grown into a commitment to helping others enjoy beautiful, healthy gardens all year round.
With a decade of hands-on experience, I offer a full range of services—from routine garden maintenance and lawn care to full-scale landscaping and specialist plant care. I pride myself on delivering high-quality work with attention to detail and a personal touch, whether I’m restoring a lawn, shaping hedges, or transforming a garden space.
My journey really started when I helped restore my grandparents' overgrown garden one summer—it had been untouched for years. Seeing the transformation, and how much joy it brought them, lit a spark in me. Since then, I’ve never looked back. Every project I take on is a chance to create that same feeling for someone else.
